The Life & Death of Mummy Brown

This competition brief wanted to hear the unheard story of a colour, which led me to discover a strange historic pigment of paint made from crushed remains of Egyptian mummies. To bring the topic to life I typeset an article to form a double sided, 10 panel leaflet which readers could unravel from it’s own minature sarcophagus to read. I utilised G.F. Smith’s embossed paper stocks to create a box with stone-like texture and belly bands reminscent of linen bandages.
